Students start their day by attending a school wide time of devotion. The students lead the prayer, worship, devotion, and recite our school mission statement, Proverbs 22:6. Our Principal recognizes students 'caught being excellent' and presents a certificate. Birthdays are celebrated and once a week the students hear a short sermon from Pastor Malone of New Testament Church. Students starts their day with the proper perspective on our place in God's world and are encouraged to walk in excellence throughout.

Students are academically challenged as they work with new curriculum for Language Arts and Mathematics from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. The comprehensive common core student texts puts the state standards into the hands of every student so they can take ownership and become committed to their role in the learning process.
