If you're visiting NTCA in April and you see students in the hallways launching marshmallow and holding yardsticks, it must be getting close to the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), Fair! At New Testament Christian Academy we take science seriously and have fun in the learning process. Every May staff and students present a STEM Fair that showcases our Ask, Imagine, Plan, Create, and Improve questions to many science experiments. Each class presents a tri-fold project board which is demonstrates what project was tried and the results that developed.
This year we added a bit of friendly family competition at 5:30 pm. Each family was given a bag of uncooked spaghetti, a large marshmallow, tape, and some string. The family that built the tallest tower that held the marshmallow received all kudos and bragging rights for the evening! We had many families give it a try and lots of smiles along the way. Thanks families, for participating!
NTCA has been presenting a Science Fair for several years and this year we transitioned to a STEM fair. We are very blessed to have our Seventh Grade Science Teacher, Mrs. Sarah Todd leading us each year. Congratulations to all the students for their participation in the STEM Fair.
