MS. SHOLTES IS EXCITED to start her first year at New Testament Christian Academy. She loves the family atmosphere of NTCA and knows it is a place where students and families are loved and supported. She is glad she can incorporate both her desire to educate children and her love for the LORD as a teacher at NTCA.
Teaching is Ms. Sholtes’ second career. Prior to pursuing a career in teaching she worked for almost ten years in youth and family ministry. Six of those years were spent at the Milwaukee Rescue Mission. Ms. Sholtes has a BA in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. She recently completed the initial certification portion of the Masters of the Arts program in teaching at Cardinal Stritch University. She plans to complete her Masters In the next year or two.
Ms. Sholtes holds firm to the fact that all students are capable of learning. She has a strong passion for differentiated instruction and works hard to find out how each student learns. She believes that material should be presented in way that makes it accessible to all learners with all different learning styles. She is always looking for new and creative ways to present material to students.
