Rev. Dianne Brown was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey to the late (retired) New Jersey State Assemblyman Willie B. Brown and Rev. Stephanie McKay, she graduated from the former Saint James Preparatory High School in Newark, New Jersey.
On May 11, 2013, she received her Masters of Divinity from the Morehouse School of Religion of the Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC). In June of 2013, Ms. Brown became the Youth Pastor of the Macedonia Church in Macon, Georgia, where the Rev. Eddie D. Smith, Sr. is Pastor. In 2015 she served as a worship leader and children's coordinator at The House of Hope-Macon, located in Macon, Georgia, where the Rev. Dr. E. Dewey Smith Jr. is the Senior Pastor and Rev. Reginald W. Sharpe Jr. is the campus Pastor. Rev. Brown currently serves as Director of Youth Services at Holy Redeemer Institutional Church of God in Christ in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where Bishop Sedgewick Daniels (International COGIC General Board Member) is Pastor.
In 2014, Ms. Brown was tabbed and now sings soprano for Grammy Award Nominee Dr. Ricky Dillard and New G, winning multiple Stellar Awards in 2015 for their hit entitled “ Amazing. ”
On Sunday, July 26, 2013, Ms. Brown was licensed to Preach the Gospel at her home church, First Timothy Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. Andre’ L. Coffee. She was Ordained to the Ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ Sunday, June 29, 2014 under the leadership of Rev. Andre’ L. Coffee.
