Mr. Mack's favorite bible verse and personal mission statement come from the this Proverbs verse.

Outside of teaching, Mr. Mack enjoys playing the piano and building model airplanes out of balsa wood. He also enjoys working in his shop and building something in or around the house.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Proverbs 3:5-6

Meet Mr. Lyle Mack

IT’S NOT ABOUT US, IT’S ALL ABOUT GOD, says Mr. Mack, when speaking about New Testament Christian Academy. Mr. Mack loves working in an environment where a person can work with co-workers and truly get along with them. There aren’t many places that can say this.  New Testament Christian Academy is one of those places. It’s truly all about God. That’s the reason why New Testament is a great place to work. With that said, he feels everyone here has the freedom to glorify Jesus throughout the day. Mr. Mack believes this is truly a Christian school.

Mr. Mack has an Industrial Engineering background and always wanted to be a missionary. He and his family left for the mission field to a small tribe in Africa in 1995 and later went to Mexico in 1998. He was not sure what he wanted to do in Mexico but they needed a Math and Science teacher. So, he taught Math and Science in the High School to the missionary kids in Mexico. It was there that Mr. Mack started teaching.

Mr. Mack taught at New Testament in the 2002-2003 school year while he was home from the mission field of Mexico for a year. Later, he returned to Mexico. Finally, after he returned to the United States in 2008, he has been teaching here ever since. Mr. Mack has had all five of his children attend New Testament Christian Academy.
